Who we are

Northman and Associates began as a group of friends doing what friends do —showing up for one another, offering support, and striving to make life better for those around them. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, our founder, Erik Cohen, recognized how deeply isolation had affected so many. Determined to rebuild connection, he began hosting gatherings, themed events, and group trips for friends who, like him, were searching for community and renewed purpose.

What started as a simple effort to stay connected soon became something more intentional. As the group witnessed the strength and impact of standing united, their mission evolved. Rooted in brotherhood, service, and community, they became known affectionately as “The Northman”—a name symbolizing strength, loyalty, honor, and unity.

We believe no one should carry life’s burdens alone—and that standing together can truly save lives.
