The Need
Men experiencing emotional hardship without access to strong support systems face significantly higher risks of isolation, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, unemployment, and housing instability.
For Veterans, the burden is even heavier. According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Veteran Suicide Prevention Annual Report (2025).¹ Post-traumatic stress (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other invisible wounds often persist long after service ends. These unseen injuries can quietly erode relationships, careers, and hope. Behind every statistic is a father, a son, a brother, a friend. Too many suffer in silence because they believe they have to.
That is why Northman and Associates exists — to build brotherhood, restore purpose, and create environments where men, especially Veterans, are seen, supported, and never left to carry the weight alone.
